AAAA JSA Superman and the Flying Fox by JsmNox AAAA JSA Superman and the Flying Fox by JsmNox
A Superman (Clark Kent) and a Flying Fox (?) redesign submitted to Project Rooftop.

Flying Fox? Keep reading...

Superboy is Clark Kent. He's going to become the greatest hero, so his costume must be iconic: simple but not boring, and powerful! And more important, without a mask because people must trust him (more like a neighbor than a hero). However he's not this great man yet, so this costume is for a Superboy: slick, with a short cape, elegant but colorful.
The Flying Fox is... Bruce Wayne! but he's not Batman yet (remember Superman Batman: Generations?); that's why he's uniform is more like Robin's than Batman's, or indeed, a mixture of both: he's being trained by the greatest heroes from the 20th century to become one of the greatest hero of the 21st century: Batman! But also, one of the greatest mentors for other teen heroes in the future: Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Damian Wayne, Cassandra Cain, Barbara Gordon, etc... Why the Fox Mask? Well, like Ted's, like the future Batman, but he's still a kid.

And because a "flying fox" is also a bat. ;)

Thank you for drawing Flying Fox. I've been a huge fan of that character design since I saw him in "Superman/Batman Generations".
