A Flash (Jay Garrick) and Kid Flash (Wally West) redesign submitted to Project Rooftop.
The Flashes! The keyword about this designs is "dynamic", that's why both designs are asymmetrical, more Wally's than Jay's.
Flash does not think about himself like a hero, he feels more like a kind neighbor who wants to help his city. The no-mask aspect of his design is very important, even if he wears Hermes helmet (he also have something like winged boots). He's older and his costume should be modern, more like an uniform, while Wally's is younger and postmodern and somehow, casual.
Kid Flash feels more like a hero (like Alan) and that's why he actually uses a mask. Like I've said his costume is more dynamic, asymmetrical and uses only two colors (it's more a suit than a uniform). He uses trainers instead of boots. Oh, and like I've said it's Wally and not Barry, so the mask is similar to the last mask worn by Wally pre-flashpoint (also because I think it's a little more useful if you can run so fast)
